Meet Ashlie, Founder of Canine Brain Games
I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when your dog is bored, restless, or showing unwanted behaviors—especially when you're doing your best but just aren't sure what they need. I’ve seen it time and time again: loving dog guardians frustrated because their pups are chewing, barking, digging, or simply seeming anxious or unfulfilled.
The truth is, so many behavior challenges stem from one root issue—lack of proper mental and instinctual enrichment. Our dogs weren’t meant to just go through obdience training and sit like a good boy or girl. They’re intelligent, problem-solving creatures who need stimulation and purpose!
As I worked with more foster dogs, and their new families, I realized guardians needed an easier way to provide enrichment and understand their dogs needs—one that didn’t feel overwhelming or time-consuming, but still delivered real results.
With a Master’s degree in psychology specializing in behavior analysis, I’ve spent over a decade studying behavior, connection, and enrichment—both in clinical mental health and in the incredible relationships between dogs and their humans. My research reinforced what I already knew: enrichment is the missing link in so many dog behavior struggles.
