Seven Types of Canine Enrichment
Cognitive Enrichment
Activities that challenge your dog’s problem-solving skills and encourage learning.
Physical Enrichment
Exercises that help your dog stay active and healthy, such as walking, running, or interactive play.
Sensory Enrichment
Stimulating your dog’s senses (smell, sight, sound, taste, and touch) through new experiences.
Environmental Enrichment
Creating a stimulating environment through changes or additions to their space.
Social Enrichment
Positive interactions with humans or other dogs that fulfill your dog’s social needs.
OR positive interactions in the environment whether out for a walk or hearing new sounds.
Food Enrichment
Turning mealtime into a fun, rewarding activity by using treat-dispensing toys or slow feeders.
Toy Enrichment
Providing a variety of toys to encourage play and satisfy natural instincts, such as chewing or chasing.
Each box theme highlights different enrichment types so your dog never stops learning, sniffing, or thriving. From sniffaris to DIY puzzles, every item is selected to meet a real need—and make it fun.
Because dogs deserve more than just toys. They deserve enrichment with purpose. 🐾

What Our Brainy Customers Say

"My pup and I (and even my cats) look forward to these boxes! I have a dog that isn’t able to go to daycare or have many play dates, and he gets bored pretty easily. These boxes have given us new ways to try and keep his life interesting. He loves the treats and he loves that with each box there’s a new game to play."

"Thank you! I have been doing enrichment things with my dogs and students for years. I love the things you offer."

"My dog loves these boxes! I have a special needs rescue dog, Odin, that really enjoys the new games (and treats!)" the Canine Brain Games box provides. Each time it comes there’s a different theme and focus, which keeps it fresh and interesting. I also really like that it’s by monthly, so I’m not collecting clutter of things I don’t need. I would highly recommend this if your dog likes puzzles and likes to learn new things!"

Primary Areas of Dog Enrichment

Allowing your pup to show off their thinking skills is a lot of fun. Providing you with items like puzzle boards will allow your pup to show off their skills.
Changing up their environment to allow them to work around obstacles or scavenge for items will allow for physical enrichment. The box your things come in can make a great box to hide treats or toys, allowing your dog to "dig" and tear into it.
You may wonder how you would provide sensory enrichment to a dog. This is done through scented toys, playing with calming sounds, and allowing your dog to taste new things and activities involving visual stimuli. Don't worry; we've got you covered!
Providing opportunities for your pup to socialize does not mean you have to take them out into the world. We will provide tools to allow your dog to socialize at home with you. Of course, you can always do these activities out of the house if your pup enjoys it.
Make mealtime more fun for your dog. Dogs are natural scavengers, and their drive to dig and search for food is still relevant today. This is done through items like the lick mat and slow feeder bowls going out in our first box.
Dogs and Toys! The simple act of adding in a new toy or rotating toys can provide enrichment to your dog. Check out each box for a new toy!
Environmental enrichment for dogs involves creating a stimulating and engaging living space that encourages natural behaviors like exploring, sniffing, and problem-solving. By adding elements like interactive toys, puzzles, new scents, or obstacle courses, you can keep your dog mentally engaged and reduce boredom. This type of enrichment helps improve a dog’s overall well-being, reduces stress, and supports healthier behavior by allowing them to interact with their environment in fun, instinctual ways.
